

It is with much disappointment, that we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Galston500 Event.
Rather than reschedule, the decision has been made to not hold the event at all in 2020
and to set our focus on making the 2021 Galston500 bigger and better!
The new date for the Galston500 will be the Sunday 30th May 2021.

About the Galston500
The Galston500 is an annual event which challenges a collection of 5” Scale Model Locomotive teams to attempt to complete a combined total of 500 laps of the picturesque 1km track at the Galston Valley Railway, to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research.This years Galston500 will be held on the Sunday 31st of May.

Raising Funds for Multiple Sclerosis research
This will be the third time we have run this event. Since its begining this event has raised and donated over $21,000 towards Multiple Sclerosis research.In 2020 with your help, we would like to better this total.
This year the funds will be donated directly to the Multiple Sclerosis Researchers team at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research.

Teams from affiliated Model Railways throughout New South Wales are invited to participate in the Galston500, preparing their locomotive, adorning fancy dress, gaining sponsorships and hauling passengers for rides on the day. The Venue
Nestled in the bushlands on the outskirts of Galston (in the Hornsby Shire, NSW),The Galston Valley Railway is a picturesque minature railway, with 1km of track winding throughout the bush and up the hills.
