Our team consists of a teacher, an engineer, an amusements professsional and a practicing Grey Nomad. Our loco is a scale recreation of a classic 1950's Australian diesel locomotive. The 42 class was amongst the first generation of diesels to take to the rails in Australia. They were manufactured by Clyde Engineering in Granville in 1955/56 to a well tested American layout. The "face" of this particular species of locomotive and its similiarity to a certain breed of canine led to them being called "Bulldogs".
